Process

Choosing a celebrant means choosing a ceremony that suits you. Because of this, we will meet more than once to ensure you end up with a ceremony you feel happy and confident about.

STEP 1: Initial discovery consultation (no charge). A relaxed conversation to discuss what you’re looking for and for you to decide whether I’m the right fit for your day.

STEP 2: Getting to know you. Once your wedding is confirmed, we will meet so I can learn more about you and your story. The purpose of the meeting is to shape the structure of the ceremony and gather the information I need to write your ceremony.

STEP 3: Review and refine. Between our meeting and your ceremony, you’ll have the opportunity to review the ceremony and suggests any changes to ensure it meets your expectations. Nothing is set in stone until you’re completely happy.

STEP 4: Wedding rehearsal. This gives you and key members of your wedding party the chance to walk through the main elements of the ceremony ahead of the big day. Typically, this takes place at the venue on the day or evening before the wedding.

Pricing

My fee for conducting a wedding ceremony is £550. This includes:

  • One initial discovery consultation

  • One face-to-face planning meeting (or online, if preferred)

  • Ongoing support with vows, readings, poetry, music and any other content

  • Plenty of opportunity to review and amend your ceremony

  • A wedding rehearsal, up to 24 hours before the ceremony

  • Travel expenses within 10 miles of my home location (South Buckinghamshire)

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of £110 is required to secure your date. This amount will be deducted from the total fee and reflects the preparation time required to create your ceremony.

Additional costs

In some cases, additional costs that may be incurred. Where possible, this will be discussed during our initial discovery call and an advance of any charges being applies. Additional charges may include :

  • travel expenses at 50p per mile for distances greater than 10 miles

  • overnight accommodation

  • excess travel time

Payment structure

  • To secure your date: £110 (20% of total fee)

  • 45 days before ceremony: £165 (30% of total fee)

  • 7 days before the ceremony: £275 (50% of total fee) plus any additional agreed costs

The final payment will be due no later than 7 days before the ceremony, although payments may be made earlier if preferred.

All payments are non-refundable, as significant time and preparation are dedicated to each ceremony from the moment a booking is confirmed.
